Lives and works in London, England

I began painting and developing my process in 2016 alongside studying at Durham University in the North of England. I was initially inspired by the works of Frank Stella, particularly his large format black paintings leading me to focus in my earlier work I focussed on working solely in black and white, interested in the development of complex compositions from simple shapes. As I have developed my process and ideas I have moved towards large format acrylic pieces, involving colour alongside the complex compositions that form the basis of my work. These large format pieces are developed without external inspirations, drawing upon each previous piece to develop new compositions, intending to be completely removed from reality and representing a constantly evolving series of work.
